The bisexual pop star opened up about the incident on Red Table Talk: The Estefans.

Lauren Jauregui is opening up about being publicly outed by Perez Hilton.

Back in 2016, a photo of the bisexual former Fifth Harmony member kissing her then-girlfriend went viral after the gossip blogger and media personality shared it on Twitter.

"Why are @FifthHarmony fans being so extra so over this photo of @LaurenJauregui (in the red) kissing another girl?" Hilton wrote at the time. "NBD!"

Now, in a recent appearance on Red Table Talk: The Estefans, Jauregui is discussing the devastating moment that left her feeling "violated."

"I was outed to the public..." she said of Hilton posting the photo of her and her girlfriend at the time. "My own process was violated."

Though Jauregui was already out to most of her family, the "On Guard" singer shared that she "wasn't ready" to be out "on a public scale."

"I'm Latina, and there was that looming feeling of, 'What is my community going to think about me?'" she shared. "Are they even going to accept me?"

Shortly after the tweet went viral, Jauregui decided to publicly come out as bisexual in an open letter directed toward Trump supporters, writing: "I am a bisexual Cuban-American woman and I am so proud of it."

Following the release of the Red Table Talk episode, Hilton had a few things to get off his mind, though none of them included an apology.

"When I apologize for something, it's because I mean it and am genuinely remorseful," he wrote in a statement on his YouTube channel. "I am NOT sorry for that tweet about Lauren Jauregui. That was not 'outing' her."

The gossip blogger continued on to say that he "never claimed or presumed anything about her sexuality."

"All I did was send out a tweet talking about the leaked photo," he said. "I don't regret that."
