This is why we love Lizzo so much!

If you needed more proof that Lizzo is the best, then we've got some perfect news for you this morning!

During a recent night on the town, and while signing autographs for and taking selfies with fans, the 33-year-old Grammy winner was asked by an unidentified paparazzo if they had any special messages for Demi and if they would possibly be performing together at this year's upcoming New Orleans Jazz Fest.

"Do you have a message for Demi? Should she reach out?" the photog asked, with Lizzo promptly responding that Demi uses they/them pronouns.

When the same person then asked Lizzo, yet again, more questions about Demi while continuing to misgender them, Lizzo had to let them know what they were doing.

"Their team," Lizzo replied. "Demi goes by they."

And Lizzo's good allyship didn't go unnoticed! Shortly after video of the occurrence started making the rounds on the web, Demi took to their Instagram Story to thank Lizzo for sticking up for them!

"@lizzobeeating you f*cking queen I love you," they wrote. "Thank you."

Demi came out as nonbinary back in May of this year. The 28-year-old singer-songwriter talked openly about their journey with their gender identity and how they now use they/them pronouns in a series of personal, heartfelt tweets, saying, "Every day we wake up, we are given another opportunity and chance to be who we want and wish to be. I've spent the majority of my life growing in front of all of you...you've seen the good, the bad, and everything in between Not only has my life been a journey for myself, I was also living for those on the other side of the cameras."

They continued:

"Today is a day I'm so happy to share more of my life with you all: I am proud to let you know that I identify as nonbinary and will officially be changing my pronouns to they/them moving forward."
