Ricky Martin Details How He First Fell in Love With Hubby Jwan Yosef
Suddenly we believe in true love again!
Ricky Martin is here to remind us that true love still exists out there!
In an exclusive clip from the upcoming premiere episode of Paramount+'s revamp of the iconic Behind the Music documentary series, the music legend and Out cover star talks openly about the early days of his relationship with his husband, Swedish artist and heartthrob Jwan Yosef.
"I met Jwan through Instagram, believe it or not," Ricky says, recalling how it was like love at first Insta click. "I saw his art, and I'm like, 'Who's the artist?' and it said 'Jwan Yosef,' and I'm like, 'That's such a cool name, but I wanna see his face.' And then when I saw his face, I said, 'Okay, this is over. What a beautiful man.'"
"We texted for sixth months, and then sixth months later I fly to London, where he used to live, and I say, 'Well, let's meet,'" he continued. When I got out of the car and I saw him, I said, 'Whoa. Wait a minute, I think this is the man of my life and I think I am going to marry him.'"
And boy was he was right! The beautiful AF couple has been married since 2017 and are now fathers to four children (two of whom Martin became a dad to in 2008 as a single parent).
"I call him the witchcraft, because I felt the spell, then I was in his arms," Ricky concludes in the Behind the Music clip, making our heart swell with joy and love in the process.
Behind the Music makes an epic comeback on Paramount+ this Thursday, July 29!
