Out Actor & Comedian Leslie Jordan Dies in Car Crash

Leslie Jordan has passed away.

According to a report published earlier this morning by TMZ, the beloved, Emmy-winning actor and comedian suffered from an unknown medical emergency while driving his BMW in Hollywood on Monday morning, causing him to crash into the side of a building.

The out actor was 67 years old and known mostly for his comedic roles in projects like Will & Grace, Hearts Afire, American Horror Story, and more. He also became a viral meme sensation during the early days of the pandemic for the popular comedic videos he would post on his Instagram account.

Following the news of Jordan's passing, his official Instagram account released a statement to his over 5.8 million followers and fans.

"The love and light that Leslie shared will never go out and we invite you to share your memories and comfort each other during this time," the post read. "In the coming days, we will be giving a glimpse of a project Leslie was really proud of and was looking forward to sharing with the world."
