Almost two years after publicly coming out, the artist married her partner this week.

Da Brat is now a married woman!

The longtime rapper married her fiance, Jesseca "Judy" Dupart, earlier this week in a Tuesday ceremony that took place at the Horse Mansion in Fairburn, Georgia, reports People Magazine.

"We've been calling each other twin flames for a while. So this date, 2/22/22, is a significant event," Dupart told the magazine about wanting to get married on February 22, 2022. "We just didn't want to miss it because it comes once in a lifetime. It's relevant. It's just real significant to our relationship. It signifies angel numbers, and it also is reminiscent of twin flames."

Brat was walked down the aisle by her close friend and fellow hip-hop icon Jermaine Dupri, while Dupart was walked down the aisle by her brother, Damon Dupart Sr.

"Yesterday was a DREAM COME TRUE," Brat wrote in a recent Instagram post sharing pictures from the ceremony and reception to her fans and followers. "We OFFICIALLY are BOTH Mrs. Harris-Dupart. Being surrounded by our closest family and friends we celebrated our LOVE STORY. WE IZ MARRIED NAH."

After years of public and media speculation, Brat finally confirmed her sexuality and came out publicly nearly two years ago when she shared an Instagram post about being gifted a brand new white Bentley from Dupart for her birthday.

"Never have I EVER," she wrote on Instagram at the time. "Needless to say... I've always been a kind of private person until I met my heart's match who handles some things differently than I do. Thank you baby, [Jesseca Dupart,] for far more than this incredible birthday gift. I have never experienced this feeling. It's so overwhelming that often I find myself in a daze hoping to never get pinched to see if it's real so I can live in this dream forever. "

Though the two never hid (Dupart has noted that she and Brat have been out and about together in public before), it was the first time Brat had posted about their relationship and about them being together, which was a major milestone in their romantic journey.

Later in 2020, Brat spoke out in an interview with Variety about how the harsh, homophobic treatment of out LGBTQ+ celebs, most notably Ellen DeGeneres, in decades past kept her in the closet for so many years.

"I was always told you want to be f--able to men and women to sell records -- you don't want anybody to discriminate," she told the trade mag about not coming out sooner in her career for fear of her image and backlash. "It was absolutely my decision. I mean, you saw what happened to people like Ellen: Remember when she lost her TV show, and all these horrible things were happening? People were totally against it."

Luckily, things have changed since those days, and now Brat and Dupart can live their most loving and authentic lives!

Congratulations to the happy couple!
