Jerrod Carmichael Uses a Pic of Him & Taylor Swift to Get Grindr Dates

Jerrod Carmichael isn't afraid to use his connections to help him get a hook up.

In an interview with Howard Stern on his radio show, the recently out comedian revealed that he has a few tricks up his sleeves when it comes to using dating apps.

Carmichael was asked by Stern if he's found love yet, and though he says that he hasn't yet, he is putting himself out there. And he revealed one powerful secret dating weapon that he has.

"You said in an interview somewhere that you were at a party once and you got Taylor Swift's number?" Stern asked. Carmichael said she was "just being nice" and he's met her a couple times, and he got a picture of him and the "very, very sweet" pop superstar. Now, he's putting that picture to good use.

"It's a picture of me and Taylor I use on my Grindr profile now," Carmichael laughed. "I'll send it to guys. You really want to excite the gays in New York City? Send a picture of you and Taylor Swift!"

He also revealed that he uses his Saturday Night Live promo pics on his profile as well. "I started using the good [pics]," he added. "I got these SNL promo pics, let me use it on Grindr, bro. Resources."

Stern also asked the comedian if he's attracted to Call Me by Your Name star Timothee Chalamet, to which Carmichael had a quick answer. "Who isn't?! That's the thing, he knows that he's wearing a f*cking harness - him and Harry Styles are dangerous," he said.

"It's like, okay, the f*cking gay baiters," he continued. "I saw Harry Styles in a f*cking swamp yesterday, I'm like 'why is this hot??' Right? I'm into it, I don't like that I'm into it, but I'm into it!"

The 34-year-old comedian and actor came out as gay during his recent HBO Max comedy special Rothaniel. In the special, he told of how he caught his father cheating, and that made him feel like he was keeping a secret too.

"After that was out in the open, I was left alone feeling like a liar, because I had a secret," he said. "One that I kept from my father, my mother, my family, my friends, and you. Professionally, personally. And the secret is that I'm gay."

Thankfully, the reaction has been overwhelmingly positive, and Carmichael seems to be having a great time in his new, out life.
