Jim Parsons & Todd Spiewak Celebrate 5th Anniversary, Share Sweet Pic
Love always wins!
On Friday, Jim Parsons (The Big Bang Theory, The Normal Heart) took to social media to celebrate his five-year wedding anniversary with his husband Todd Spiewak.
The actor, who keeps a notoriously low profile on social media, didn't miss out on celebrating his marriage during this landmark anniversary for the couple.
As seen below, Parsons shared (on his Instagram Story) an adorable picture standing alongside Spiewak as they both wore sharp tuxedos and stared into each other's eyes. "Five years," Parsons wrote, while also tagging Spiewak's Instagram page.
Though the two are celebrating their five-year wedding anniversary this year, they have actually been together for nearly 20 years after being introduced to each other by friends in November of 2002.
Parsons is currently working on a film titled Spoiler Alert from director Michael Showalter, where he will play the main character. This movie is based on Michael Ausiello's memoir Spoiler Alert: The Hero Dies and is being adapted into a screenplay by writers David Marshall Grant and Dan Savage. Parsons and Spiewak are two of the producers behind the upcoming film.
Since getting married to Parsons in 2017, Spiewak has served as a producer on a variety of shows such as Young Sheldon, Special, and Call Me Kat. For Parsons, his last big film was Netflix's The Boys in the Band. On TV, the actor is still the narrator of Young Sheldon, which serves as the prequel series to his character from The Big Bang Theory.
Between being married for five years and working together on a variety of projects, it's great that Parsons and Spiewak are taking the time to commemorate this very special anniversary date.
