We love a happy ending!

It's Homeward Bound: 2022 Edition!

Canadian hunk and actor Luke Macfarlane revealed that he recently had a stressful situation when his dog Farmer ran away and went missing for five hours after he jumped into a FedEx truck.

"My very sweet and friendly dog Farmer decided to jump into a FedEx truck and take a long ride," Macfarlane said on Instagram about the ordeal. "After 5 hours and help from a few online detectives we reunited. I think my husky mutt sweet boy might need a GPS dog collar. Thank you, everyone."

Thankfully, he has reunited with his beautiful dog thanks to some help from "online detectives." Macfarlane posted a picture of Farmer with the FedEx driver whose truck he jumped in after he had been safely reunited with his owner.

Macfarlane's friends could barely believe the news, with Modern Family's Jesse Tyler Ferguson replying, "Wait. WHAT?!?!!!!" and Billy Eichner joking that naming the dog Farmer "is... exactly right." Drag superstar Shangela also offered help if it happens again, saying, "love this reunion! Next time call me! I'm good at crime-solving."

Next up, Macfarlane has a much more romantic adventure, starring opposite Billy Eichner as the love interest in the upcoming major studio gay rom-com Bros. The film features an all-LGBTQ+ principal cast, and stars Eichner as Bobby Leiber, a single and jaded gay man who has given up on finding love when he meets someone who changes his views and opens up his options.

Thankfully, now that he's reunited with his dog, Macfarlane can focus on preparing for when Bros comes out in theaters on September 30!
