Ryan Gosling Is Excited For Us to See His Big Ken-Ergy in Barbie

We're excited to see it too!!!

Every time we see another picture of Ryan Gosling as Ken in Greta Gerwig's upcoming Barbie movie we gag even harder!

The 41-year-old actor is starring as Ken opposite Margot Robbie's Barbie in the new movie about the iconic Mattel doll. In every image and video we've seen so far, Gosling is serving plastic perfection realness as Barbie's boyfriend.

Gosling is so perfect for the role, that in his other new movie The Gray Man, Chris Evans' character refers to Gosling's character as a "Ken doll." Gosling loves it, and said to Entertainment Tonight that it "is not an insult at all! I'm proud of that."

"I have that Ken-ergy that you can feel, obviously," he joked.

In another interview for Variety, Gosling was asked his reaction when he saw the costumes and hair he'd be sporting in the movie for the first time. "Finally, finally. It's happening," Gosling replied. "This has been coming my whole life."

"I felt seen, I felt like I was seeing myself, I felt seen," he added. "I think a lot of Kens will feel seen when they see this. Gotta do it for the Kens, nobody plays with the Kens!"

After Gosling plays him, that's definitely going to change.

Alongside Robbie and Gosling, Barbie stars America Ferrera, Simu Liu, Ariana Greenblatt, Hari Neff, Kate McKinnon, and Alexandra Shipp. Everything about this movie is already iconic, and we are just dying for it to be released. Unfortunately, we'll have to wait until July 21, 2023 to see Barbie and Ken in all their glory!
