Nyle is always looking right!
Nyle DiMarco was introduced to mainstream audiences in 2015 as a contestant on America's Next Top Model season 22. At the time, DiMarco became the second-ever male winner of the series and the first deaf person to win the show. A year later, he returned to reality TV as a contestant on Dancing With the Stars season 22, which he also won alongside dance partner Peta Murgatroyd.
Since then, DiMarco has become a notable actor, model, and activist with 1.7 million followers on Instagram and multiple career credits. As an actor, he's appeared on shows like Switched At Birth, Difficult People, This Close, Station 19, and Queer As Folk. DiMarco also served as a producer on Netflix documentaries such as Deaf U and Audible.
When it comes to activism, DiMarco has fought fiercely against ableism and has been featured in multiple campaigns and collaborations bringing awareness to deafness and deaf people. Among his achievements, DiMarco has been a spokesperson for the ASL App and the Language Equality and Acquisition for Deaf Kids (LEAD-K) organization. He also founded The Nyle DiMarco Foundation in 2016, which helps deaf children and their families gain access to important resources.
