Every Project & Venture Trixie Mattel Is Working On in 2022
Oh honey–it’s a very busy year for Trixie!

Trixie Mattel is one of the hardest-working drag queens on the planet, and most of her success has taken place after placing sixth on RuPaul's Drag Race season seven. Trixie herself has said in the past that "the real race is after Drag Race" - and her career is living proof of what she means by that.
Between getting eliminated twice in season seven and being crowned the winner of All Stars 3, Trixie has become the most-followed Drag Race contestant of all time. In the meantime, Trixie has toured the world as a solo musical act multiple times, starred in various shows, released several studio albums, and ultimately solidified her career as one of the most successful drag entertainers of our time.
In 2022 alone, Trixie has over a dozen major projects and ventures in her pipeline. From original music to renovation shows to successful businesses to digital series to multiple ongoing tours, this "Skinny Legend" has never been more booked and busy than she is today.
Scroll through to check out all of the projects and ventures that Trixie Mattel is releasing and working on in 2022!
The Blonde & Pink Albums
Trixie's music career has been wildly successful with the release of 2017's Two Birds, 2018's One Stone, and 2020's Barbara. Now, Trixie is releasing her most pop record ever - a double album titled The Blonde & Pink Albums. The album, which is being released on June 24, features collaborations with Michelle Branch and Shakey Graves.
Trixie Motel
Trixie literally purchased a motel in 2021 and landed a renovation show with Discovery+ about renovating the property. In 2022, fans have been loving Trixie Motel as they get to watch the queen bring her unique sense of humor and drag flair to the genre of renovation shows. Trixie Motel also featured special guests such as Lisa Vanderpump, Nicole Byer, Mo Heart, Orville Peck, Brittany Broski, Jaida Essence Hall, Juno Birch, Iggy Azalea, Zooey Deschanel, Gigi Gorgeous, Leslie Jordan, Dan Levy, and Tiffany Pollard, to name a few.
UNHhhh
After meeting on Drag Race season seven, Trixie and Katya's UNHhhh has now run for seven seasons on the WOW Presents Plus streaming service and on YouTube. In 2021, World of Wonder renewed UNHhhh for three seasons, which means that the show is guaranteed to reach its eighth season in 2023.
I Like to Watch
"At this point, if you haven't seen me somewhere, you're actively avoiding me," Trixie has said a few times. On YouTube, that is truer than ever. Besides the seven seasons of UNHhhh, Trixie and Katya have a digital series with Netflix called I Like to Watch where they review different movies and TV shows and give their absolute honest, unfiltered, and hilarious opinions. As of 2022, I Like to Watch is still going on Netflix's official YouTube channel.
Queen of the Universe Season 2
Trixie made waves for being cast as a judge on Queen of the Universe alongside Michelle Visage, Vanessa Williams, and Leona Lewis, and the Paramount+ singing competition is coming back in 2022 for a second season. The judging panel will be mostly the same, but Spice Girls band member Mel B will replace Lewis in season two. Thus, fans can expect to see Trixie back on the show as a judge.

From Katya With Love
Last year, it was reported that OUTtv is working on a dating show titled From Katya With Love where Trixie will appear as the host to help Katya find love. The dating competition still doesn't have an official premiere date, but it was scheduled for a 2022 release when it was announced.

Trixie & Katya Live!
It's no secret that Trixie and Katya do a lot of projects together, but they're only getting started touring together. In 2022, the duo is traveling the entire world with Trixie & Katya Live!, which has been a huge success. In fact, the tour recently added new dates for the fall.
Grown Up Tour
In between her several TV projects and her joint tour with Katya, Trixie has also been finalizing her solo Grown Up Tour, which was interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. During her downtime from Trixie & Katya Live!, Trixie did several dates for the Grown Up Tour.

Trixie and Katya became New York Times best-selling authors in 2020 with their first-ever book, Trixie and Katya's Guide to Modern Womanhood. Now, the duo is working on a new book for this year titled Working Girls: Trixie and Katya's Guide to Professional Womanhood. Trixie and Katya's second book together has a scheduled release date set for October 25, 2022.

Trixie Cosmetics TV
Even more content from Trixie is available on her official YouTube channel, which she has branded as Trixie Cosmetics TV. Besides announcing new products on the channel, Trixie also shares various makeup tutorials, interviews, and unboxing videos, among other things.
The Bald and the Beautiful
Fans love to watch - and listen to - Trixie and Katya going into their hilarious tangents, which led to the creation of the duo's The Bald and the Beautiful podcast. This is the place for fans who enjoy longer interactions and conversations between Trixie and Katya, as well as special guests, which makes it different from UNHhhh.
This Is It!
In 2021, Trixie became the co-owner of This Is It!, which happens to be the oldest gay bar in Wisconsin. Going into 2022, Trixie still has all of the responsibilities of a bar owner along with business partner George Schneider. The All Stars 3 winner has recorded several videos at the bar to promote it and even featured This Is It! during an episode of Trixie Motel.
Trixie Cosmetics
Trixie's bread and butter is Trixie Cosmetics, her incredibly successful makeup company. Following its launch in 2019, Trixie Cosmetics has undoubtedly become one of the most successful companies to be founded by a Drag Race contestant. Besides its full lineup of beauty products, Trixie Cosmetics also sells a wide array of apparel and accessories.
