It's likely that fans of Amazon's popular, relevant comedy Transparent won't be seeing new episodes of the show until 2019.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series, which was slated to begin production in time to air the new season in 2018, has had its schedule pushed to the end of the year in the wake of Jeffrey Tambor's exit from the show.

"It is unclear just how much of the new episodes will have to be rewritten, but Soloway and their team - including Jill Gordon, who takes over as showrunner for season five - have months to finalize a plan," writes THR.
Tambor, who won an Emmy for his portrayal of Moira Pfefferman, was ousted from the show after multiple accounts of sexual misconduct came out against him late last year. "I am profoundly disappointed in Amazon's handling of these false accusations against me," he said. "I am even more disappointed in Jill Soloway's unfair characterization of me as someone who would ever cause harm to any of my fellow castmates." Read the full THR story, here.
