Sarah Paulson Returns to Ellen Amid Jump-Scare Paranoia
A journey of vigilance, fear, and treachery.
Poor Sarah Paulson. We're sure she just wants to do have nice press tour stop for her upcoming film Ocean's 8 on a nice daytime talk show like Ellen without being on edge for her entire segment. Unfortunately, after Ellen DeGeneres scared Paulson multiple times the last time she was on her show, starting as early as when she arrived in the dressing room, Paulson is understandably cautious.

After promising Paulson that no one is going to sneak up behind her or jump out of the prop table next to her, the two talk the actresses' latest Met Gala look - a custom Prada gown that took 800 hours to make - and how nervous she feels in red carpet situations. Paulson jokes about her friendship with Oceans co-star Rihanna and how they hung out for a bit at this year's Met Ball and watched Madonna's performance. "Yeah, we're best friends," she joked.
Of course, Paulson's fears were founded when, in the final stretch of her segment, during a game of "5 Second Rule," DeGeneres sprung her trap. Three rounds into the mini game DeGeneres spoke the signal word "crickets" and a clown broke through the very game podium the pair was playing at to scare Paulson. Next time she'll have to conduct the interview suspended from the ceiling to protect herself from jump-scares. Watch, below.
