We couldn't get enough of Magic Mike last summer. The story was compelling; the cinematography was...who are we kidding? It was nearly two hours of Channing Tatum stripping and we loved every single g-string-clad second. Well now it seems that our summer obsession may have a second act.
Entertainment Tonight reports that while Tatum was promoting his new film, White House Down, Tatum was asked about the possibility of a sequel to the film that grossed over $150 million worldwide. Though he was coy about giving an actual confirmation--even though in the past he's said it's happening--that the sweet baby Jesus had answered our nightly prayers, but he did give a thumbnail sketch of the plot.
"It will be a road trip movie," says the Out June 2012 cover boy. "It will essentially be the movie that everyone thought the first one was going to be--crazy and fun and less slice-of-life and less drama. The first one, we had to make not so cheesy and campy; this one we are going to swing for the fences."
Translation: less plot, more nearly naked dudes. GAYER? Swing away, Tatum, swing away!
And just because it's Pride and we want it to rain men, watch Channing dance to the hit song:
