Sia to Perform With Gay Men's Chorus During 'Trailblazers' Special
Logo TV is beefing up its first Trailblazers event honoring those who helped break down barriers in the LGBTQ community.
On Tuesday, the network announced that Sia is set to perform her hit single, "Chandelier," with the New York City Gay Men's Chorus. The special performance will take place at New York's Cathedral of St. John the Divine during a celebration of the one-year anniversary of the overturning of DOMA, and a year of firsts for the LGBT community, including openly gay athletes.
In addition to Sia's performance, Michael Stipe will honor Ugandan gay rights activist and refugee John Abdallah "Longjones" Wambere as an "International Trailblazer" for his work with Spectrum Uganda Initiatives.
Sia and Stipe will be joined by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Pete Wentz, and Demi Lovato at the ceremony, which airs June 26 at 9 p.m. EST.
