This past May, Austrian drag queen Conchita Wurst rocked our worlds with "Rise Like A Phoenix." Now she's followed up the Eurovision 2014 winning hit with enchanting power ballad, "Heroes."
Wurst skillfully shifts gears from a soulful downtempo number to a rollicking chorus and back again. "So let the walls come down / And the colors light up the sky / We could be heroes. We could be heroes tonight," Wurst declares in an almost belting chorus.
While many Eurovision winners may be one-hit wonders (Quick, name three winners who careers post-contest!), Wurst seems most likely to hold onto her stardom. Last week, Wurst performed "Rise Like A Phoenix" at the U.N.'s Vienna headquarters.
