Here's First-Look Images From 'Knives Out' Sequel 'Glass Onion'
Janelle Monáe is in the cast!

The knives are back out!
Writer and director Rian Johnson is expanding his Knives Out franchise with the movie's first-ever sequel, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. The film is part of a Netflix deal that includes two sequels for the 2019 whodunit film.
While Daniel Craig is reprising his role as Benoit Blanc, the rest of the cast of Glass Onion is entirely new and features Janelle Monae, Kathryn Hahn, Madelyn Cline, Edward Norton, Leslie Odom Jr., Ethan Hawke, Kate Hudson, Dave Bautista, and Jessica Henwick.
Johnson and Netflix are obviously keeping further details about the upcoming film under wraps, but the plot of Glass Onion involves a tech billionaire taking a trip to a private Greek island with a group of close friends. Someone unexpectedly dies during that trip, which brings in Benoit Blanc and launches his latest investigation.
The first Knives Out film grossed over $300 million at the box office and instantly became a cult classic. By signing onto this Netflix deal, there is a sense that Johnson wants to build upon the first film and transform the Benoit Blanc character into something similar to Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot.
Though we still don't know much about Glass Onion - and probably won't know too much more until the movie comes out - first-look images have finally been released, giving fans a sneak peek of what's to come.
Scroll through to see the first-look images of Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, which premieres December 23, 2022 on Netflix.
