New year, new Scream!
Paramount Pictures is already marketing the upcoming Scream VI sequel, which is scheduled to premiere in theaters on March 10. Wednesday star Jenna Ortega returns as Tara Carpenter in the film while Courteney Cox will reprise her iconic role of Gale Weathers.
Also starring in the movie are Melissa Barrera (Sam Carpenter), Mason Gooding (Chad Meeks-Martin), Jasmin Savoy Brown (Mindy Meeks-Martin), and Hayden Panettiere (Kirby Reed) in the main roles. Roger L. Jackson is back as the voice of Ghostface.

Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, who jointly co-directed 2019's Ready or Not and 2022's Scream, teamed back up to direct Scream VI. The sequel was co-written by James Vanderbilt (Zodiac, Independence Day: Resurgence, Murder Mystery) and Guy Busick (2022's Scream).
With the massive success of M3GAN, 2023 is already shaping up to be a huge year for the horror genre. Other LGBTQ-inclusive scary films coming up this year include Teen Wolf: The Movie and Knock at the Cabin.
Scream VI opens in theaters on March 10.
