Going all out in Japan!
Lil Nas X continues to rise as a global superstar, and his Long Live Montero tour has helped him make 2022 his for the taking.
While on vacation in Minato-ku, Tokyo, Nas X posted a three-picture gallery of his time in Japan. In one picture, he poses with a big smile as he holds up an adult film in each hand.
The other two pictures see him posing with a Pokeball in the streets and standing in between two Japanese men wearing face masks.

Earlier this month, Nas X posted a video on his TikTok of him in a Japanese terminal where passersby carry on around him. The caption for the video reads, "Me realizing I'm not famous in Japan." The video shows the rapper lip syncing to audio dramatically stating, "No, I'm a star!" as he pulls at his hair and feigns a breakdown. The clip has gained nearly 30 million views as of this writing.
Whether or not he's famous in Japan, Nas X still knows how to be humble and have a good time. Other videos from his trip include him randomly walking up to a group of Twitch streamers in the middle of a live-stream.
Earlier this week, Nas X was also included in the Native Son 101 list that highlights Black gay and queer men. The mission behind the Native Son list is to "harness the collective power of Black gay men with the goal of ensuring that our voices, visibility, and lived experiences are elevated in all of the communities in which we exist and never again disregard."
Nas X made the list due to his advances in his music career and his openness about his sexuality. The list credits the rapper combatting bigotry in country music with "Old Town Road" and also raising $500,000 for charities serving HIV-impacted communities after his pregnancy stunt.
The Long Live Montero tour concludes in Sydney, Australia on January 4, 2023.
