YouTube Star Gigi Gorgeous Chronicles Transgender Journey in Powerful This is Everything Trailer
The forthcoming film is directed by two-time Academy Award winner Barbara Kopple.
The trailer for This is Everything: Gigi Gorgeoushas arrived, and we're freaking. Centered on the life and transition of YouTube star Gigi Gorgeous, her forthcoming documentary bares all, profiling everything from her mother's death to getting detained at a Dubai airport last year for being trans.

Director Barbara Kopple has previously won two Academy Awards for Best Documentary Feature--once for Harlan County, USA and again for American Dream. Her latest endeavor, This is Everything, will premiere at Sundance Film Festival before becoming available through YouTube Red on February 8.
Gorgeous, who began creating makeup tutorial videos as Gregory Lazzarato, came out to her followers as transgender in December 2013 and has since garnered 2.2 million subscribers to her channel.
"Having Gigi happy is way more important than me having old Greg," her father says teary-eyed in the official trailer. Watch, below.
