With sights set on becoming Finland's first major pop star, 21-year-old ALMA proves she's a mighty force on her new summery new single, "Chasing Highs."
The track follows ALMA's debut single, "Karma," and viral follow-up, "Dye My Hair," both of which appeared on her breakout 2016 EP, Dye My Hair. "I'm chasing high, high, high, highs," the Finnish artist growls above tropical power-pop production, delivering her most promising radio contender to date. "You are getting closer," she says.

The track's newly released music video sees ALMA wandering around Las Vegas with her friends, as the strip's vibrant neon signs complement her blinding yellow-dyed hair. She's easily one of the coolest new artists on the scene, right now, and gearing up to release a debut full-length LP. Though no official details have been set, ALMA has been in the studio with buzzy names, like queer producer MNEK (Beyonce, Madonna, Kylie Minogue) and Number 1 Angel singer/songwriter Charli XCX.
