The speed at which Ariana Grande is releasing her next album is fast enough to give you whiplash -- or maybe that's just motion sickness from watching her ponytail swing. On Monday, Ariana Grande tweeted about how "deep" it is that she's releasing two albums in six months, with the math confirming that thank u, next would be released in February. Now, we have not only the confirmed release date -- February 8 -- but also the full tracklist after Grande shared it on Instagram.
The list includes the singles Grande has already released (""thank u, next," "imagine," and "7 rings") as nine other songs:
imagine
needy
NASA
bloodline
fake smile
bad idea
make up
ghostin
in my head
7 rings
thank u, next
break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored
No song title has ever been more relatable than "break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored." Honestly, her mind continues to amaze us all. Grande had originally planned to release the tracklist, release date and album cover later this week, but after the tracklist leaked she pushed the date up and will now reveal the album cover on Friday.
Last week, Grande released the music video for "7 rings," the third single off thank u, next, a capitalist ode to wealth and women that starred Grande as a high rolling femme fatale surrounded by a squad of her closest girlfriends. Based on the tracklist, it seems that much of thank u, next will be similarly irreverent.
P.S. Is "needy" a follow-up to "Greedy?" Don't tell Valentina!
