Pabllo Vittar at the MTV Europe Music Awards.

Ah, that’s herstory.

Though RuPaul has certainly ushered in a slew of drag queens into the pop culture zeitgeist -- and by extension history, -- RuPaul's Drag Raceis not the only option for making it big. Lately there's been a growing group of performers carving out a space that's completely their own, and in the Golden Era of Ru, none have done so more successfully than Pabllo Vittar.

The Brazilian pop singer took home the award for Best Brazilian Artist at the MTV Europe Music Awards on Sunday. Having just celebrated her 25th birthday on Friday, it seems like it's only good news for the queen.

On Instagram, where she is reportedly the most followed drag queen in the world, Vittar dedicated the award to her fans, according to the platform's translation tool. She received congratulations and likes from other drag notables like Shangela, Valentina, Manila Luzon, and Miss Fame. Even Heidi Klum chimed in.

Her boyfriend also commented "world's proudest boyfriend" on the post.

Vittar had been nominated for the same award in 2018. She lost out to the performer, Anitta, who had won the prize for five years straight.

Vittar also gave a pre-show performance, becoming the first Brazilian to perform at the event. She performed her hit song, "Flash Pose," on the event's red carpet. That track includes a feature by Charli XCX, who did not appear at the event.

Parabens, Pabllo! May this only be an indication of more great things to come.
