Linux Makes a Deal with the Devil in ‘Thanks Satan’ Music Video

Someone get this to the ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ music supervisor.

Satan is queer, we know that to be true. Between the hot version of Lucifer introduced last season on Chilling Adventures of Sabrinaor the Satanic Temple saying they will "fight... to the death"for LGBTQ+ rights -- not to mention Elizabeth Hurley in Bedazzled-- the devil is a gay icon, period.

So it's no surprise that New York City club favorite Linux chose to honor the Prince of Darkness in her new single, "Thanks Satan," an extremely literal ode to Beelzebub directed by Matt Sparks. The music video casts the trans party girl as an updated version of Mia Farrow in Rosemary's Baby, although Linux is much happier about being the beast's bride than Farrow ever was. "You know, none of this would be possible without the devil," she drawls. "New house? Thank Satan. New car? Thank Satan? New hits that debut #1 on the charts? Thank Satan." Talk about sympathy for the devil.

Clad in a crop top seemingly made from the entrails of her enemies, Linux is joined by a posse of demons clad in Juicy tracksuits, substituting hellish fire and brimstone for vapor from the Juuls. "Forgive me father, for I have sinned. Fucked Lucifer, now I'm pregnant," Linux reveals, before moving on to the chorus: "Thanks Satan, thank you Lucifer. Sold my soul, and now I'm cooler."

"Superstardom isn't just handed to anyone," Linux tells Out, presumably from atop a pile of corpses, "and with this release I'm truly just 'living' up to my end of the bargain." The music video "is a legitimate ritual and ultimately my spiritual surrendering to the Devil," she adds. And if she's sacrificed her goats the goth way, the future holds "a life filled with fame and excess."

From her lips to Lucifer's... horns.
