As the MSNBC daytime anchor, Roberts has certainly upped his profile during this election year. Although he said he wanted to get married in his hometown of Baltimore, he settled for a rooftop in Manhattan when he wed Abner, an HIV community liaison for pharmaceutical company Merck. "I never imagined in a million years that I would be on a stage kissing my male partner, spouse -- husband, Thomas is saying -- in front of my father," Abner said during the ceremony. "And to be able to do that and have not just my father but my whole family be proud of me? That's something special."
