If you like your web series absurd and boisterous, It Gets Betterish has your number. The show satirically follows Glazer and Sullivan (co-creators and -writers) in their fumbled tries at emulating a stereotypically gay lifestyle (i.e., a disastrous attempt at hiring a drag queen for a party, shunting a drunk, a presumptuous fag hag). It's a clever angle, and one that many who feel culturally typecast can relate to. For more, check out Sullivan's stand-up shows at the UCB Theatre in Chelsea or "Eliot's Sketch Pad," Glazer's new comedy launching on the Above Average YouTube channel later this year.
