JLo to Dive Into a Pile of Cocaine as Griselda Blanco in HBO Film

Release the furs!

Jennifer Lopez, serial victim of Mariah Carey's wayward shade, is driving into the light as she primes for the role of a lifetime: "Godmother of Cocaine," '70s druglord, and my personal hero Griselda Blanco.

Not much is known about the project, except that Lopez will star and executive produce the film for HBO.

"I've been fascinated by the life of this corrupt and complicated woman for many years," La Lopez said. "The idea of teaming with HBO felt like the perfect fit for finally bringing Griselda's story to life."

While we should all look forward to this--I mean, the fashion and the inevitable cat-eyes alone (Jennifer Lopez + the '70s + cocaine = YAS KWEEN!)--JLo has some big pumps to fill, namely those of Maya Rudolph, who snorted and slayed as Griselda on an episode last season of Drunk History.
