The singer and Dunkirk actor went on the late night show for a surprise takeover last night after Corden's wife Julia Carey went into labor. Styles jumped into the role on two-and-a-half hours' notice but performed like a true champion. Besides landing the comedic timing of his opening monologue and giggling over dogs wearing sunglasses, he also interviewed Owen Wilson, Jane Krakowski, and Joel Edgerton.
