High art is hard to come by these days.

Britney Spears has Instagram, in case you didn't know--and her account is actually the most artful and highbrow grid in our feed. Hopefully by now, you're aware of her painting, at least, which sold for $10K at auction--a true masterpiece of online storytelling and so good we've decided to exclude it from the following list.

One of her other mediums for channeling her self-expression is through her runway shows. For those tragically unfamiliar, Britney likes to stage catwalks in her house, where she struts down her hallway showcasing different powerfully corporate outfits, often to different soundtracks, always with an eerily vacant smile. It can be a lot to navigate at first glance, which is why we've helped you out by selecting five of the best runway shows in Instagram history.

Our selections were based on a variety of factors, most importantly: does Britney demonstrate a level of lifelessness in the eyes that makes us concerned if she isn't trapped in a birdcage of her own creation? Do the outfits suggest a level of timelessness not even a Bratz doll is capable of? Do the movements of the runway walk feel so rigid we wonder if the woman on screen isn't a robot decoy of Brits? Each of these five strongly demonstrates all of these criteria, but for propriety's sake, we've ranked them for your viewing pleasure.

5. When she walks down the hall with a stern look on her face while Rihanna's "This Is What You Came For" blasts:

4. When she asks us to choose between either a red mini body-con dress with cutouts in the back or a pink mini body-con dress with cutouts in the back. Note the halfhearted smile after modeling the red one:

3. When she gives her take on Beyonce's "Hold Up" in a crop top and coordinating cowboy hat!

2. This one that begins in haunting silence, and features a glimmer of fear in her face the entire time:

1. Our winner has to be this "fashion week at home" masterpiece--the white crop top/ cowboy hat combo returns and there's a certain empty sorrow in her face that gives this film an emotional depth not quite breached in the others:
