Adam Rippon Wants to Make Team USA Proud, But Reese Witherspoon is a Close Second

So Reese is priority #1 when it’s not an Olympic year? 

A lot can go through an Olympian's mind right before they compete. Nerves and emotions are at a critical level as a lifetime of preparation comes down to a few globally televised moments. For American figure skater Adam Rippon, making sure he represents the United States is at the top of his mind while he's competing in Pyeongchang - but Reese Witherspoon comes next.

"There are so many emotions when I stope on the ice. I want to represent my country to the best of my abilities," Rippon said to NBC over the weekend. "I want to make Reese Wither spoon proud."

Well, with a beautifully technical program that helped Team USA win bronze in the team figure skating competition, Witherspoon should be rightfully honored. Reese, if you're listening, Adam is competing in the men's single events later this week and would probably love a shout-out. Watch, below.
