2021 was the year of the queer wedding!

Astrid Guyart – Fencing
Out French fencer, author, and rocket engineer Astrid Guyart (right) married her girlfriend, Julie Lavet (left), in a beautiful ceremony recently, and the brilliant athlete shared some pics of the joyous event on her Instagram!
When she's not competing on Team France's fencing team, Guyart is also a successful children's book author and a part-time aerospace engineer who works on designing rockets.

Guyart had been training hard all year to compete for Team France in the Olympics in Tokyo this past summer, and her efforts paid off with a silver medal performance!

WNBA and Chicago Sky star Candace Parker was all smiles earlier this month when she revealed her two-year marriage to Anya Petrokov.
