*Yes, this post contains spoilers sis!
RuPaul has a thing for aiming to gag the girls -- we are almost guaranteed a "for the first time in Drag Race herstory" every season. That paid off in a big way this weekend in the second episode of the four-part RuPaul's Secret Celebrity Drag Racewhen Mama Ru turned out an episode with celebrities with a capital C as contestants as well as a cameo by the one and only Dolly Parton. The show was truly an hour and a half of quality television. But in our excitement about that greatness, we may have spoiled the rest of the season!
Fans may remember that following the first episode, it was revealed that a trio of queens that weren't featured on the show helped to do the contestants' makeup. Curious about whether or not the same had happened for the second episode, we went on a search of the credits. Before we got there though, we found what looks to be the list of "secret" celebrities slated for the show's final two episodes.
As depicted in previews, the next episode of Celebrity Drag Race is a roast. Nina West, Kim Chi, and Bob the Drag Queen have all been previewed as the show's Queen Supremes -- and with good reason, as they are all pretty great comics. And, according to the full credits on an official page for Celebrity Drag Race that Out found,* the stars they will be mentoring include Schitt's Creek's Dustin Milligan, comedian Matt Iseman, as well as singer and actor Alex Newell. Iseman notably won an episode of Lip Sync Battle and as a comedian, no doubt has experience doing roasts. But Newell will certainly give him a run for his money as a multihyphenate, whose track "Kill the Lights was the song for Drag Race season 12's latest lip sync.
This leaves the fourth and final episode of the Secret Celebrity special. According to the credits, this will be a "Dragzilla"-titled show, which we would assume is aimed at serving up the spooky drag we love. But with Queen Supremes Vanessa Vanjie Mateo, Alyssa Edwards, and Monique Heart on board, maybe that's not the point. No matter, those same credits have revealed singer Madison Beer, singer Hayley Kiyoko, as well as comedian and 2 Dope Queens co-host Phoebe Robinson.
Well, now with the Secret gone we can go back to calling it RuPaul's Celebrity Drag Race.
