JoJo Siwa Keeps Slaying Dancing With the Stars With Britney Spears Routine

JoJo Siwa and her dance partner Jenna Johnson just keep on slaying this season of Dancing With the Stars!

On last night's Britney Spears-themed episode, the out social media superstar and former Dance Moms alum came in a three-way tie for the highest score of the night after performing the Argentine Tango to Brit-Brit's iconic 1998 smash hit "...Baby One More Time." After scoring a whopping 24 out of 30 points (alongside competitors Amanda Kloots and Alan Bersten and Olivia Jade and Val Chmerkovskiy), Siwa and Johnson definitely proved they are some of this season's fiercest competitors.

"I love Britney," Siwa said during an interview segment on last night's DWTS episode about her love for the pop icon, who has been in the news a lot recently due to a very public legal battle she's going through surrounding her conservatorship. "Britney is a legend. An icon. A ball of talent and glitter and energy. She is a genius. She just has a way of being herself, almost like nobody else does."

"I think I've had a really great support system around me, but being a child star is hard," she continued, talking about how she can really relate to Spears, especially the two both started their careers as child stars. "I was always homeschooled, and so I never had a person bullying, like it wasn't a thing for me. One night, I went to a Halloween theme park. People were shouting at me, 'JoJo Siwa, 'F' you.' No 14-year-old wants to hear that. Every time that I go through something, it reminds me of the other side, of what's good."

Siwa and Johnson's "...Baby One More Time" routine comes on the heels of last week's epic "Rain On Me" performance, where they got the second-highest score of the night, and the "Are You Gonna Be My Girl?" performance the week before that, where they topped the entire episode with the highest-scoring performance in the competition!

But if you think Siwa and Johnson are the only same-sex couple slaying the international DWTS universe, you're definitely mistaken!

Strictly Come Dancing, the UK's version of DWTS, is seeing Great British Bake Off album John Whaite and his professional dancer Johannes Radebe slaying the dance floor as the show's first male same-sex team, while the French version of DWTS also just got its first same-sex partners with Eurovision star Bilal Hassani being paired with dancer Jordan Mouillerac!

Dancing With the Stars airs Mondays at 8pm on ABC.
