Euphoria Just Dropped Another New Season 2 Teaser Trailer
Euphoria is reaching out to its Gen Z fans, dropping a new, quick trailer on TikTok!
"When you're younger, everything feels so permanent," Rue says in the new 30-second clip. "But as you get older, you realize nothing is."
The clip features tons of the super talented young cast, including Hunter Schafer's Jules, Barbie Ferreira's Kat, and Jacob Elordi's Nate. While the teaser only gives us little glances of what happens this season, it looks like we're in for a birthday party, a lot of moody looks, and of course, a ton of serious drama!
Euphoria had previously released a teaser trailer announcing that the second season will be coming out January 9 on HBO Max. The official description says that the new season takes place "amidst the intertwining lives in the town of East Highland," where "17-year-old Rue must find hope while balancing the pressures of love, loss, and addiction."
Emmy-winner Zendaya also told Teen Vogue that this season is going to be "difficult." She said, "The show was intense. And it's very personal to, not only ourselves and all the people who work on it, but also, to other people who have been able to relate so deeply to the characters or see their experiences being reflected through Rue."
"So we take that very seriously. And it's definitely challenging, it's a challenging season," she continued. "It's gonna be hard and it's gonna be devastating sometimes, but I think Rue really deserves all of that care when it comes to her character because I think she represents a lot for so many people. And I hope to make those people proud with our depictions of Rue [and] where all the characters go. I think this season's not going to be easy, though. It's not going to be a fun watch, I don't think. Sometimes."
Season two of Euphoria airs January 9 on HBO Max.
