Netflix's Elite is back with another teaser, and here we are still chomping at the bit.
For the past few weeks, Elite, the murder mystery series set in Las Encinas private school, has been in season four promo hyperdrive. The series dropped a premiere date, as well as some first look photos. On Instagram, the show has also been posting videos presumably teasing storylines to come. One seemed to promise a bit of sapphic action. The latest centers on our favorite couple of the show: Omander.
Omar and Ander have really been through it. Things started off rough in a sort of star-crossed lovers situation. Once that settled down, there were some growing pains, and then Ander got cancer. The diagnosis threw an emotional wrench in the coupling with Omar cheating. But, by the end of season three, it seemed like everything was ok again. Until the season four premiere announcement.
In the first, we saw Omar and Ander do a dance of sorts around a new character played by Manu Rios. It seemed like they were maybe all interested in one another and then Ander and Rios's character got together while Omar looked on ... pissed off. The new teaser certainly gets into it a bit more.
In the new clip, Omar and Ander start off together. Then as cuts edit in and out we find Ander with the new guy, then Omar with the new guy, Ander with the new guy again, and then all three of them together, in and out of clothes. The caption: "f*ck conventions."
June 18 can't get here soon enough.
