The winner of Drag Race season six is here to make it clear.
On Monday, August 1, Jinkx Monsoon shared a picture of her lip sync for the crown look from RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 7. She credited the artists behind the looks, which included Dallas Coulter for the catsuit and Wig Chapel for the wig. Alas, a surprising name that caught the attention of many fans was Bianca Del Rio being credited for the sketch of Monsoon's lip sync costume.
The All Stars 7 winner wrote:
"Fun story behind this look: [Bianca Del Rio] sketched the design for this look and bequeathed it to me before filming, then [Dallas Coulter] created this leopard ready-for-everything look based on that design. I LOVE MY FRIENDS!"
However, it seems like the story behind the sketch for this look isn't exactly what Monsoon credited in the caption. A few hours after Monsoon's post, Del Rio shared an Instagram Story clarifying what happened.
The season six winner explained:
"[Monsoon] gave me credit for this fabulous costume sketch, but it was created by the brilliant Philip Heckman for my Unsanitized Tour. I'm now suing her for $200,000."

It's obviously a joke that Del Rio is suing Monsoon for her full All Stars 7 prize money, but Del Rio still made it clear that she didn't come up with the sketch. This was very likely a silly misunderstanding on Monsoon's part, but Del Rio felt compelled to issue a correction and give credit to the artist who was actually responsible for this sketch.
We came very close to Del Rio being somewhat involved in this all-winners season after all, but it seems like she really wasn't a part of anything that transpired on All Stars 7.
RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 7 is streaming on Paramount+.
