It's a whole new season of spooks and laughs!

The first full trailer for the second season of Los Espookys is here and it's ramping up the spooks and the laughs!

We've been waiting three years for more episodes of the terrifically weird and hilarious Spanish-language comedy Los Espookys, and now our patience is paying off.

HBO Max just released a new trailer for the second season of the show, showing us some of the things we'll see this season in the show created by Fred Armisen and queer comedians Julio Torres and Ana Fabrega.

The new trailer gives us a good look at the ghost that's haunting Renaldo (Bernardo Valasco). As he's walking through a supermarket, he sees the ghost of a beauty queen impaled by a giant ship's anchor.

Armisen's character, who is Renaldo's uncle, also joins the crew this season, getting in on the spooks himself. And we see Ursula (Cassandra Ciangherotti) visiting Mayor Teresa Lobos, who plans on running for president this season. When Ursula asks her what her strategy is, she says she wants to give mini pizzas to everyone who votes for her.

The trailer also shows Andres' (Torres) demon, Water's Shadow, as she lives her new life in the real world, and more drama with Renaldo's wildly angry and bitter cousin.

We also now know who pop star Kim Petras will be playing when she makes her TV acting debut in the series. The preview shows Ambassador Melanie Gibbons (Greta Titelman) as she happily welcomes her fellow politician, Secretary of State Kimberly Reynolds onto a pink carpet celebrating Hierbalite, the multi-level marketing scheme Tati (Fabrega) gets wrapped into in the first season.

Now these are politicians we can get behind! Where's Kim on our ballot this November?

The new season of Los Espookys premieres soon, September 16, on HBO Max.
