Life in plastic, it’s fantastic!

She's a Barbie girl in a Barbie world.

Fans are finally getting their first sneak peek of the highly-anticipated live-action Barbie movie, which is being directed by Greta Gerwig (Lady Bird, Little Women).

"Since the beginning of time, since the first girl ever existed, there have been dolls," the teaser starts. "But the dolls were always and forever baby dolls, until..." A gigantic Margot Robbie, as Barbie, then appears.

The teaser also features appearances from Ryan Gosling (Ken), Ncuti Gatwa (antoher Ken), Simu Liu (another Ken), and Issa Rae (another Barbie), and Kingsley Ben-Adir. This star-studded cast of Barbie also includes Will Ferrell, Michael Cera, Kate McKinnon, America Ferrera, Scott Evans, Hari Nef, Connor Swindells, Emma Mackey, among others.
