Élite's Manu Rios Is Thirst-Worthy on the Cover of Dust Magazine
Spanish heartthrob Manu Rios is a cover boy!
The 24-year-old star of Netflix's hit teen drama Elite graces the cover of the latest issue of Dust Magazine.
In the photo, Rios wears a brown fur coat while holding a heart-shaped lollipop that reads "I love you" in Spanish. "THE SPANISH ISSUE," he wrote on Instagram. "Gracias @dustmagazine."
Rios is one of four cover stars for the sold-out Spanish issue. Dust Magazine says "this issue is personal, centered around a place we hold dear. We have chosen Spain for many reasons: its location, its people, its spirit, as well as its ease of being unpretentious and real. Or, perhaps, for its way of looking ahead and prioritizing individuality over traditional beliefs. Or, maybe, even because it's a country that isn't scared of change and takes on challenges boldly. We love Spain, especially because of its fervent youths and how they are now bringing their heritage alive, finally finding their voice in contemporary culture."
Rios is wearing Sant Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello. The photography is by Bruce Labruce, while the fashion is by Marc Forne.
Earlier this month, Rios confirmed his departure from Elite after three seasons. "I believe that everything that begins has its end," he said. "As an actor, you want to do different things, and although Elite has been an incredible experience and I am very grateful for everything it has brought, there are also times when it is necessary to go from stage to stage, change pages, and do other things."
We can't wait to see what's next.
