After garnering all sorts of positive buzz at SXSW earlier this year, the first official trailer for A24's latest title -- the bloody hilarious and queer AF slasher-comedy Bodies Bodies Bodies -- is finally here and has our full attention!
"When a group of rich 20-somethings plan a hurricane party at a remote family mansion, a party game goes awry in this fresh and funny look at backstabbing, fake friends, and one party gone very, very wrong," the film's official description reads.
Featuring out, LGBTQ+ faves like Dear Evan Hansen alum Amandla Stenberg and Foundation's resident daddy Lee Pace, alongside Shiva Baby's Rachel Sennott, Pete Davidson, Maria Bakalova, Chase Sui Wonders, and Myha'la Herrold, Bodies Bodies Bodies tells the story of what happens when a young woman named Sophie (Stenberg) introduces her girlfriend (Bakalova) to her eccentric friend group of rich, out-of-touch Gen Zers for a weekend of what's supposed to be good, old-fashioned fun. But when someone unexpectedly and mysteriously gets killed during the very first night, a bloody, messy (in a good way), and hilarious game of whodunit ensues that we just can't wait to indulge in when the film is released later this summer.
Bodies Bodies Bodies premieres August 5. Watch the official trailer below.
