It'll be a busy month in September for Wicked stars Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth as both of their albums are set to release on the same day, September 23.
The stars began together back in 2003 with the supposed prequel to the classic Wizard of Oz and all these years later it seems that we'll get to experience a little Wicked reunion.
It doesn't look like the joint release date was any kind of accident, seeing as both Broadway stars decided to announce their new albums on the exact same day as well.
Menzel announced her new album, Idina. (with a little period at the end to "give a little attitude" and a little shade to John Travolta) in her Facebook Live announcement.
The album is available for presale now and the first single "I See You" is available for download now.
Chenoweth's album, titled The Art of Elegance according to Broadway World, was announced in a sweet "Save the Date" tweet from the songstress with nothing but a calendar and a lipstick kiss on the upcoming date.
This will be Chenoweth's fifth studio album. She's also set to star in the upcoming rendition of Hairspray Live airing on NBC this December, while Menzel will be seen in a Beaches remake--to Bette Midler's delight-- on Lifetime next year.
