Get your jockstraps and thongs ready: Mother Monster is coming.

Announced today, Lady Gaga is the latest performer to add her name to the list of performers at the 2020 VMA Awards. Hosted by Keke Palmer, the show already boasts BTS, Doja Cat, J Balvin, The Weeknd, Roddy Ricch, Maluma, and CNCO. Gaga as an addition is only right as she leads the VMA nominations with nine nods.

"Rain On Me," from her album Chromatica is up for Song of the Year, Best Collaboration, Best Pop, Best Cinematography, Best Visual Effects, Best Choreography, and Video of the Year. As an artist, Gaga is also up for Artist of the Year and her performance of "Smile" at the One World: Together At Home virtual event she helped to organize is up for Best Quarantine Performance. We truly expect her to sweep.

At some point, between collecting trophies, Gaga will "bring her chart-topping album, Chromatica, to life" at the event -- there is no word on whether Ariana Grand will join her. Are we getting a moment like Beyonce performing Lemonade at the 2018 VMAs?! We would like to see it! The performance will mark her first return to the VMA stage since 2013.

"I've been at home dreaming of Chromatica, and it's finally time to take off for the first live performance," she wrote in an Instagram post promoting the performance.

Fans are encouraged to vote across this year's 15 gender-neutral categories, including "Video of the Year," "Artist of the Year," "Best Quarantine Performance," and more online.

The 2020 VMAs will air Sunday, August 30 at 8 p.m. on MTV.
