The bisexual actor is about to add some serious hardware to his trophy case!

Kit Connor has officially won his first Emmy for his performance as Nick Nelson in Netflix's popular romantic teen series Heartstopper.

When the award for "Outstanding Lead Performance" was announced at the first-ever "Children's and Family Emmy Awards" on Sunday, Connor was, unfortunately, not able to make it to the ceremony.

Instead, Heartstopper co-stars Sebastian Croft and Will Gao accepted the Emmy on Connor's behalf, giving an endearingly awkward speech.

"Kit, wherever you are, um, hi!" said Croft.

"Kit has been so inspiring for us, and he really led the company of actors, and this is so well deserved, and I can't wait to give this to him," said Gao.

Also nominated for "Outstanding Lead Performance" was Heartstopper's Joe Locke, as well as Alicia Silverstone, Rueby Wood, Mark Feuerstein, and Loretta Devine.

Heartstopper took home several awards that night. It also won "Outstanding Young Teen Series," "Outstanding Casting," and "Outstanding Writing."

Olivia Colman's portrayal of Nick Nelson's mother won "Outstanding Guest Performance."

Connor, still on a Twitter break after queerbaiting accusations forced him to come out as bisexual, took to his Instagram story for a short-but-sweet message.

"Well, this is cool," Connor wrote. "Thank you so much to everyone who watched the show."

Heartstopper had wrapped filming its highly anticipated second season earlier this month.
