Alert the ton! The first teaser trailer for the second season of Netflix and Shondaland's sexy period drama Bridgerton is officially here! And it's a special Valentine's Day treat for the gays, as we get to see out actor (and this season's lead star) Jonathan Bailey get shirtless in a bathtub!
Stepping back into the shoes of Viscount Anthony Bridgerton, the eldest Bridgerton sibling and the head of the Bridgerton household, Bailey starts this season where he left off in the first: looking for love. This time, though, it looks like he just might find it with new a new character by the name of Kate Sharma (played by actress Simone Ashley).
Though the first season of the raunchy, Regency-era TV show initially teased a queer romance in its trailer, it only ended up being very brief, blink-and-you'll-miss-it moments that didn't really add up to much real representation, so with season 2 on the horizon, we're hoping LGBTQ+ folks will have something to look forward to as well!
Bridgerton Season 2 hits Netflix on March 25. Season 1 is now streaming.
