*NSYNC star Lance Bass has some news: he and husband Michael Turchin have welcomed the birth of their first children together.

"The baby dragons have arrived!!" Bass wrote in an Instagram post featuring the children's birth certificates. "I can not express how much love I feel right now. Thank you for all the kind wishes. It meant a lot. Now, how do you change a diaper??! Ahhhhhhhh!"

Bass and Turchin welcomed twins Violet Betty and Alexander James on Wednesday. They were born via surrogate one minute apart.

Bass had previously spoken about the pregnancy which had come after years of trying through different avenues and experiencing a miscarriage.

"We always knew we wanted at least two kids," he told People. "It would be nice to have a boy and a girl just to feel the experiences of raising both or whatever they end up being. I think it's just amazing that science has gotten this far where we can make the healthiest human beings ever. And I hope in our lifetime, we'll be able to see the whole world be able to do this."

The news makes Bass simply the latest high-profile same-sex parent. U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg and his husband Chasten recently welcomed twins as well. Prior to that, Queer Eye's Tan France announced the birth of his son Ismail France with his husband Rob Post. Olympic basketballer Breanna Stewart and her wife Marta Xargay Casedemont, Samira Wiley and wife Lauren Morelli, as well as soccer star wives Ali Krieger and Ashlyn Harris all announced additions to their family this year.
