Fact: 90s supermodels were and still are the best supermodels. Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing is well aware of that fact and smartly cast three of the greats in the brand's spring/summer 2016 ad campaign.
Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer delivered a scathing RIP to the competition in the campaign's stunning images by noted fashion photographer Steven Klein, who is literally everywhere these days (more than usual).

"All the people who love Balmain have this nostalgia of the power of fashion in the '90s when models were iconic--and this is always what I push," the 30-year-old designer told Vogue. "When you love Balmain, you love Cindy, you love Naomi, and you love Claudia. It's natural because they are iconic, they are powerful, and they are strong--and they make a lot of people love fashion."
